Monterey Bay Football Club (Monterey Bay F.C.) announced today that local former recording artist Nicole Ushakoff will sing the National Anthem for the Union’s 2022 inaugural home opener at Cardinale Stadium against Las Vegas Lights FC.
Born and raised on the Monterey Peninsula, Ushakoff attended elementary and middle school in Seaside before attending Monterey High School. Ushakoff grew up in a musical family and learned to appreciate the art of music from her parents at an early age.
In the early years of her career, Ushakoff recorded music and opened up for many recording artists, such as Outkast, Macy Gray, India Arie, Ludacris, Wyclef Jean, Gypsy Kings, E-40 and many others. Currently, Ushakoff lives in Monterey with her husband and three children and is a top producing Realtor on the Peninsula with Keller Williams and The Ruiz Group Real Estate Team.
“I am honored to have been chosen to sing the National Anthem for the inaugural home-opening match for Monterey Bay F.C.,” said Ushakoff. “This is an exciting time for the community to have a professional team to be able to cheer on and support. The energy in the stadium is contagious and a wonderful option for family-friendly fun.”
Monterey Bay F.C. single-game tickets and parking passes are available now for the club’s home-opening match on May 7 and the rest of the 2022 USL Championship season. Learn more about Monterey Bay F.C. by following @MontereyBayFC on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook and online at MontereyBayFC.com.
