COMMUNITY OF SCHOOLS PROGRAM

Monterey Bay Football Club’s Community of Schools Program offers special benefits and incentives to various local educational institutions as well as affordable entertainment options for students, staff, parents, and family members.

In 2025, we will have two school-related theme nights!

Teacher Appreciation Night on Saturday, May 31
Back to School Night on Saturday, August 24

To join, purchase a minimum of 10 tickets in any available section for either or both of the above theme nights and receive the following benefits:

Name, logo, and link to school’s website on the Monterey Bay FC website
Video board recognition at the home match(es) the institution attends
A custom flyer, promo code, and special link for discounted tickets in the school’s designated section for the match(es).
Incentives such as Monterey Bay FC merchandise, in-game experiences, and player appearances for a certain number of tickets sold via the provided link.

Teacher Appreciation Night:

We are honoring all of our local educators on Saturday, May 31 as we celebrate our first annual Teacher Appreciation Night!

All participating schools will be able to nominate a teacher to be honored at halftime during the match and presented with an exclusive MBFC gift.
Your school will be provided with a custom flyer, promo code, and link for students, staff, faculty, and families to come to support your nominated teacher in the schools designated section.
Additionally, $2 back on every ticket sold on the school’s custom code will go directly to the nominated teacher. Options available for additional donations directly through SeatGeek.

Back to School Night:

Our biggest night of the summer returns to Cardinale Stadium on Saturday, August 24!

Your school will be provided with a custom flyer, promo code, and link for students, staff, faculty, and families to come to support your nominated teacher in the schools designated section.
School’s are encouraged to bring their school’s mascot to compete at halftime against other local schools.
All participating schools will automatically be entered to win an appearance from a Monterey Bay FC player.
10 additional schools will be selected to win a team-autographed scarf.
The school that sells the most amount of tickets through their unique link will win a visit from the entire Monterey Bay FC team!

School Challenge 2025 (bi-annual)
Purchase 10 tickets, for your school, for Teacher Appreciation Night (May 2025 – date TBD) and/or Back to School Night (August 2025 – date TBD) to participate!

1) Spring 2025: Teacher Appreciation Night (May 2025 – date TBD)

All Schools that commit to group tickets will be able to nominate 1 teacher to represent your school and compete for cash prizes to put towards school supplies at halftime during the match! (Limited 15 schools)
Top 5 schools to sell the most tickets will receive a school visit from a Monterey Bay FC player.
The teacher that wins the halftime contest will receive a class visit from a Monterey Bay FC AND tickets for their whole class to attend a Monterey Bay FC match together.

2) Fall 2025: Back to School Night (August – date TBD)

The school that sells the most tickets, at our fall Back to School Night, will receive a full team visit!
The mascot of the winning school will present the game balls to the match day referees, prior to kickoff.

** All “Teacher Appreciation Night” or “Back To School Night” participants will be entered in to win a field trip to Cardinale Stadium!
