Kickoff is set for 5:30 p.m. PT and can be streamed live on ESPN+.

Connections: San Antonio FC defender Carter Manley shares connections with several members of Monterey Bay Football Club. While at Rio Grande Valley FC for the 2020 and 2021 campaigns, Manley shared the pitch with both Monterey Bay F.C. midfielder James Murphy and defender Grant Robinson. Before that, Manley played on loan for USL League One side Forward Madison FC, where he was teammates with current Union defender Jiro Barriga Toyama.
Lastly, a year prior to Manley’s time in Madison, both Murphy and Manley spent time at Las Vegas Lights FC on loan stints in 2018. In a separate connection between the clubs, San Antonio FC defender Shannon Gomez was teammates with Monterey Bay goalkeeper Rafael Díaz at Sacramento Republic FC for four seasons from 2018-2021.
Opponent’s Previous Match: San Antonio FC traveled to Albuquerque to take on New Mexico United in the side’s previous match. After a scoreless first half, San Antonio forward Justin Dhillon scored his first goal of the 2022 campaign in the 67th minute to put the visitors in the lead. San Antonio FC’s defense held strong for the remainder of the match to preserve the clean sheet and the match ended 1-0.
