Monterey Bay Football Club (Monterey Bay F.C.) announced today that the club will be adding a new member to the team. With the fans’ help, the Union will choose between a Seahorse, an Iguana, and a Pirate to be the official mascot of the club. Voting is LIVE NOW and will end at 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, June 30.
Fans will choose between Finn the Seahorse, Iggy the Iguana, and a pirate named Captain Cruyff. Finn combines the strength and valor of a horse on land with the whimsical nature of an oceanic seahorse. Iggy represents the iguana’s natural ability to move effortlessly from land to sea. The Captain is a swashbuckling ancestor of the pirates who inhabited the Monterey Bay area throughout the 1800’s.
