SEASIDE, Calif. (Tuesday, July 26, 2022) – Following Monterey Bay’s shutout victory over New York Red Bulls II over the weekend, forward Adrian Rebollar has earned a spot on the bench for USL Championship’s Team of the Week for Week 20.
Rebollar earned his league top-18 honor for his performance all over the pitch last Saturday night. The Watsonville native recorded a game-winning assist on the night’s opening goal by setting up an opportunity for Simon Dawkins inside the box. Rebollar finished the match with a 74.1% overall pass success rate, with an 81% pass success rate in the opponent’s half of the pitch. In addition, he recorded eight duels won, five interceptions, three chances created, three fouls won and one blocked shot.
