Siaha & Doner Earn USL Championship Team of the Week Honors

SEASIDE, Calif. (Tuesday, July 11, 2023) – On the backs of the Club’s shut out draw at home against El Paso, goalkeeper Antony Siaha has been named to the USL Championship Team of the Week for Week 18 of the 2023 regular season, while defender Morey Doner has been named to the bench.

Siaha receives his third Team of the Week honor in the past four weeks for his performance at home on the weekend that saw him record his fifth clean sheet of the season and fourth clean sheet in the last five matches. Against El Paso, Siaha tallied six saves, including four saves on shots from inside the penalty area. Those six saves brought the Cameroonian goalkeeper’s total on the season to 44 on 58 shots faced for an impressive 76% save percentage.

Doner makes his third Team of the Week appearance as well this week, this time on the bench. Against El Paso, the Canadian fullback recorded an almost perfect 92% of his 50 passes on the night and won nine of his 10 duels. He also recorded three tackles defensively without conceding a foul and won three fouls in possession.
