MBFC2 ANNOUNCES 2024 REGULAR SEASON SCHEDULE
SEASIDE, California (Thursday, February 15, 2024) – Monterey Bay Football Club (Monterey Bay F.C.) and USL League Two have announced the full 2024 regular season schedule for Monterey Bay F.C. 2 (MBFC2). Last season, MBFC2 polished off a successful year with a 10-1-1 record to secure the NorCal Division Title and earn a spot in the USL League Two Playoffs in its inaugural campaign. This season, MBFC2 will play 14 matches, two more than last season’s schedule, with seven apiece home and away. While three of the upcoming seven home matches will be at Rabobank Stadium in Salinas, four will be played in Seaside at Cardinale Stadium.
MBFC2 opens the season at home against San Francisco City FC on Wednesday, May 8 at Rabobank Stadium. From there, the side will go on to play its next two matches at home as well, facing off against Academica SC on Saturday, May 11 and San Francisco Glens SC on Sunday, May 19, both at Cardinale Stadium. Following four consecutive matches on the road, MBFC2 will return home on June 22 to take on Project 51O in Seaside. MBFC2 ends the regular season the following month with two home matches on Wednesday, July 10 against Marin FC Legends at Rabobank Stadium and Saturday, July 13 against Almaden FC at Cardinale Stadium.
Three of the team’s matches at Cardinale Stadium this season will be double headers with the Monterey Bay F.C. first team – College Night on May 11, Fan Fest on June 22, and Agriculture & Country Night on July 13. Entry into those matches will require a ticket to the first team match later in the evening. Single game tickets for the rest of the MBFC2 home schedule will be on sale soon. 2024 Monterey Bay F.C. season ticket holders will receive free entry into all MBFC2 home matches as one of its many member perks this season. The MBFC2 coaching staff will be named at a later date. Additional information will be available in the coming weeks, including information about upcoming MBFC2 open tryout dates.
