On the match:
“The first 10-15 minutes weren’t a fast start for us. It felt like we were trying to size them up a bit. Then obviously a great free kick, but I thought we could have done better in moments in the first 15. And then their chance led to our goal on the counter attack. We knew they’d play a high line. First Dicko [Alex Dixon] got on the ball, then a great weighted pass to Adam [Larsson]. We see it every week in training and now hopefully Adam’s getting that momentum. We knew it was going to be a goal. Always happy for strikers to score. I think they’re a very confident bunch, so it always helps when you give them that impetus to get forward and create chances.”
On the second half adjustments:
“The second half was total domination by ourselves. I thought the subs that came on made a huge difference as well. I always tell the boys it’s not always the starting 11 and it’s not always the subs. Three different games in a week and three different line ups. So it shows that even though we have depth, guys have the mindset of wanting to do well. I think that’s always the biggest thing for me because sometimes it’s difficult to have a bigger squad, but everyone that’s come on or been involved has done well. Even in the locker room now – all the boys that unfortunately weren’t able to dress, they are in there celebrating with them. I think that the team cohesion is a big testament to the characters we have in the locker room.”

On the result:
“I think we started a little slow and bad and they scored on us. After that, I thought the team reacted well. We started playing our game and we deserved these three points. We needed the win and we are so happy with the result.”
On the importance of winning at home:
“We knew that we had to win this. Obviously at home, for us, these are must-win games. It has to be three and three and three and three when we play at home. If you can start a good run in the season, it’s going to start at home. At home we have to win every single game.”
