Monterey Bay Football Club (Monterey Bay F.C.) forward Chase Boone and goalkeeper Carlos Herrera attended Monterey High School’s Back to School Night event on Thursday, August 25. The two spent time interacting with fans and taking photos with those in attendance.
The club gave away special-edition Monterey Bay F.C. sunglasses and raffled off a brand-new MBFC hat signed by Boone and Herrera themselves. At the end of the event, the winner was drawn and awarded the signed hat.
“We had a good time out there,” said Herrera. “Being out in the community is important for us. And seeing and talking with some of the fans at Monterey High School yesterday was great. I’m looking forward to seeing them out at Cardinale Stadium this weekend.”
