Monterey Bay Football Club to Celebrate Black History Month at Preseason Match

SEASIDE, Calif. (Friday, February 17, 2023) – Monterey Bay Football Club (Monterey Bay F.C.) has announced today that The Joint Chiefs band, in association with Good Vibez Presents, will perform live at Cardinale Stadium prior to the Club’s preseason match on Saturday, February 25 in celebration of Black History Month. In addition, Monterey Bay F.C. will auction off special-edition items at the match and will donate the proceeds to local Black-owned businesses and organizations.

While gates typically open two hours prior to kick off, gates will open an hour earlier for this special performance. The performance will take place from 2 – 4 p.m., with kick off between the Union and Oakland Roots SC set for 5 p.m. PT. 

The Joint Chiefs, founded in 1990, have a library of over 200 songs and are one of the most versatile and exciting dance bands currently performing on the Northern California music scene. Tickets to the match are available now at MontereyBayFC.com/single-game-tickets.
