Monterey Bay Football Club Visits Dr. Oscar F. Loya Elementary School in Salinas

SEASIDE, Calif. (Friday, March 3, 2023) – Monterey Bay Football Club (Monterey Bay F.C.) goalkeeper Carlos Herrera visited Dr. Oscar F. Loya Elementary School of the Alisal Union School District in Salinas on Thursday, March 2.

Herrera spoke to the entirety of the sixth grade class at the school, answering questions and discussing his path to professional soccer. Afterward, he signed autographs for every student and took pictures with each individual class.

“I loved going out and talking with the students,” said Herrera. “I think it’s a privilege to be able to interact with these kids and potentially have an impact in their lives. It’s something that I cherish and hope to continue doing in the future.”
