As part of the club’s partnership with Coastal Roots Hospitality, Monterey Bay Football Club (Monterey Bay F.C.) attended a private dinner event at Montrio last night to celebrate tonight’s reopening of the restaurant in Downtown Old Monterey.
With Montrio officially reopening tonight at 4:30 p.m. the restaurant hosted all of the Union players, coaches, technical and front office staff members last night for an event that included an open bar and three-course meals for everyone in attendance. The team enjoyed courses that included sustainable seafood, local organic produce, prime meats, house-made desserts and homegrown stocks and sauces.
“The event was fantastic,” said Monterey Bay F.C. goalkeeper Dallas Jaye. “I think it’s important to get the whole club together, and not just for us players who are coming together as preseason goes on. To have ownership, the front office, the players, some of our sponsors and partners in the community like Montrio all come together, it’s special. It was great to get to know them and even get to know some of the folks in our own club. Those are the moments that will go a long way when you think about a 10-12 month season.”
As a Proud Partner of the club, Coastal Roots Hospitality will have its catering service featured throughout the season in Cardinale Stadium’s VIP area, the 1st Capital Bank Lounge. In addition, they will be receiving increased exposure through in-stadium signage and on the club’s digital platforms. Coastal Roots and its restaurants are deeply rooted on the Monterey Bay and its community and are dedicated to providing exceptional service, meaningful connections and memorable dining experiences as they strive to continually set new benchmarks for hospitality in the area.
One of the five greenest restaurants in Monterey, Montrio itself boasts an ever-changing menu of internationally and seasonally-inspired plates and main courses that are energized by both European and American cuisines. And once Montrio reopens tonight, as with all Coastal Roots Hospitality locations, fans can order and enjoy a signature-crafted, MBFC-inspired cocktail.
