SEASIDE, Calif. (Wednesday, July 13, 2022) – In partnership with Coastal Roots Hospitality, Monterey Bay Football Club (Monterey Bay F.C.) has developed a specialty cocktail set to be available for purchase at all Coastal Roots Hospitality locations, including Tarpy’s Roadhouse, Rio Grill, and Montrio.
Monterey Bay F.C. fans will have the opportunity to submit potential drink names on the MBFC fan app starting today through Sunday, July 17. Fans will then have the opportunity to vote for one of three final name possibilities from Monday, July 18 to Friday, July 22. The winning name will be announced during our home match against New York Red Bulls II on Saturday, July 23.
In addition, $1 from the sale of each drink will be donated to a local non-profit(s). The ingredients of the cocktail include tequila, mezcal, blue curaçao, lime juice, and butterfly pea flower syrup, with the Union crest made up of egg whites and blue curaçao.
